She has been serving as Assistant Professor , Department of English,Union Christian College, since 2011. It was preceded by an earlier stint as F.I.P Substitute Lecturer at Maharaja’s College, Ernakulam. She proved her academic acumen by securing second rank for B.A English Language and Literature (2003)at M.G University After completing M.A in English Language and Literature , she pursued P.G.C.T.E at English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad. Fascination for language led her to take up her second Post Graduation in Linguistics. She is currently pursuing her P.hD in Neuro-linguistics and Cognitive Science
“Monsoon Flashes” is her first collection of poems published by Notion Press in 2019. They are poems that are witty and sarcastic. They have the brilliance of lightning and the romance of the setting sun; words clutter like the monsoon clouds. They will touch you like the wind on leaves but leave a mark like a cormorant on the riverside. One moves from one poem to another like a passing cloud, revealing silvery edges to show a higher poetic truth.
